VACANCIES INTERNATIONAL ADVISORY GROUP

The TSB faculty is acquiring more and more international students, and we want to give you the opportunity to express your opinion about topics related to the international undergraduate programs and student affairs. Members of our advisory group will have a meeting with other international students once a month to exchange ideas and discuss difficulties you have encountered. By doing so we can help international students with problems they encounter and improve the internalization process at Tilburg University.

Your opinion matters!

Vacancies - International Sociology and Psychology students

The academic year has begun so, here we are again to update you about new vacancies that have opened up for international Sociology and Psychology students!

The International Advisory Group is looking for new members to represent international students within TSB. This group is an initiative by student party Stimulus where students from all programs within TSB meet up about once every block to discuss all things related to internationalization at the university. Every English track within TSB is represented by at least one international student. You will be a member of the IAG for at least one year, but we of course hope you want be a part of it for longer.

There is no set date and time for these meetings, each block we select a meeting time which is most favorable for everyone.

Your tasks will include giving advice about matters related to internationalization that will be discussed in the faculty council and giving recommendations about improving your program. The IAG also gives students a place to ask any questions they have regarding internationalization or address any problems they face in their programs. This means the IAG generally gets together once every block, but it can be more if needed. Topics that have been discussed in the past school year include but are not limited to the level of English within courses, the housing problem Internationals face and a buddy system for international and Dutch students. Each meeting, everyone gets the opportunity to add topics to the agenda that they feel are relevant.

Do you want to represent your fellow Sociology or Psychology students, meet students from other programs and gain experience in holding meetings? Then apply for the IAG before September 25th by sending an email to fractiestimulus@tilburguniversity.edu including a small motivation letter. If you have any more questions feel free to send them to the email address or reach out to us via our social media channels! @studentpartystimulus
